All proceeds from the sale of SPIRITED will be donated to 826 National. 826 offers free after-school tutoring, workshops, and in-schools programs because they believe that “strong writing skills are fundamental to future success.”

How it Got Published

I met Kat O’Shea when we were both working as freelance editors for the Wild Rose Press. We were in charge of the young adult line there. Once my first book came out, I left editing behind to pursue my career as a novelist. And Kat purchased the young adult line from the Wild Rose Press. That line became Leap Books.

And so, when Kat asked me if I knew of any young adult authors who might be interested in participating in an anthology project for charity. I signed on!
