Ether Ore

Ether Ore is the first-ever short story collection from Marcher Lord Press.  It’s a collection of Christian science-fiction stories and will feature a novella-length story by MLP publisher and founder, Jeff Gerke, a.k.a. Christian novelist Jefferson Scott. I have a short story in the collection as well, titled The Merak Galaxy.

Ether Ore will release on both Amazon’s Kindle and Barnes & Noble’s Nook. Marcher Lord Press is hoping to release the project on or before June 15, 2011.

 How it Got Published

Jeff Gerke was trying to put together an anthology of science fiction stories. I told him that I didn’t have time to write one just then, and that the only story I had that was science fiction (outer space science fiction) was a very short story that I had written for Highlights Magazine (who did not publish it, by the way). It was targeted at boys ages 8-12. I sent the little story over to Jeff and he put it in the anthology. And that was that.
