I Survived Simultaneous Deadlines

One thing that never occurred to me when I decided to write two series at once was that the edits might overlap. I figured if the release dates were far apart, everything would work out.

This was naive.

But after a very stressful three weeks, both books have been turned in. I survived. Though this is how I feel right now.

How about you? Ever felt like this? If so, what was it that piled on the stress?

Hi Jill! Oh gosh, yes. I feel so stressed that I can’t even think straight all the time. Mostly it’s from a busy schedule, juggling weekly meetings in Sea Scouts (co-ed Boy Scouts in boats, basically,) and YMCA Youth and Government. There’s also volunteer work at my city museum to take up my time, and my position as a 4-H club president. Add schoolwork onto the top, and I sometimes think that my schedule cannot get any more hectic. But just to make my life complete, I work on my novels every day for at least an hour. I guess it’s just life sometimes. Gotta love it, huh?

Hope the stress lets up some for you now that you’re past those pesky deadlines!

Oh, yes, Jill. Like right now I have three papers due, on top of the rest of my homework. Best part is, they are all due tomorrow.
